Responsibilities
1. Perform treatments in Spa Space, Jetty Spa, Guests Spa Lodges, and Suites.
2. Demonstrate good knowledge of all spa treatments and products used, including ESPA and Pure Lakes.
3. Provide treatments to the highest standards, following correct protocols (training provided).
4. Conduct full consultations with guests, understanding contraindications.
5. Host spa trials and oversee guest use of spa facilities.
6. Upsell treatments and retail products to enhance guest experience and generate revenue.
7. Recognize and celebrate guests' special occasions.
8. Manage spa reservations, respond to emails promptly, and send confirmation emails.
9. Assist the Spa Manager with daily operations and report in their absence.
10. Maintain excellent time management and knowledge of Gilpin Hotel and Lake House practices.
11. Report low stock levels to the Spa Manager or deputy.
12. Keep spa areas clean, well-presented, and stocked.
13. Clean facilities and manage laundry per departmental standards.
14. Report guest issues promptly.
15. Process charges via EPOS system and PDQ.
16. Achieve retail targets set by management.
17. Unpack and store stock upon arrival.
18. Complete daily handovers and end-of-day banking.
19. Report health and safety issues and adhere to standards.
20. Assist other departments as needed.
21. Maintain a tidy, organized, and safe work environment.
22. Present a professional appearance, with long hair tied back and good personal hygiene.
Qualifications
1. Previous experience in a similar establishment preferred.
2. Relevant treatment qualifications.
3. Experience in face-to-face guest interactions essential.
4. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
5. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
6. Exceptional customer service and listening skills.
7. Ability to work under pressure and independently.
8. Excellent organizational skills.
9. Motivated with a goal-oriented attitude.
10. Willingness to undertake additional duties.
11. Good health and fitness for the role.
12. Ability to act as First Aid Aider or Fire Warden.
Additional Information
Salary: £ to £ per hours (approx. £25,480 to £27,560, pro rata)
Gratuities are allocated based on development tiers, averaging from £240 to £550 per month, pro rata.
Plus retail sales commission.
Hours: 40 hours/week, part-time options available.
