Rate: £90 - £110 per day

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new role in a supportive specialist school? We are working with a fantastic setting in Milton Keynes that caters for children with a range of identified needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Communication and Interaction Difficulties, Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Complex Needs, ADHD, and PDA.
This is a wonderful opportunity to play a key role in supporting and inspiring young learners, helping them to build confidence, develop skills, and reach their full potential in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support pupils with a range of additional needs across the curriculum, adapting learning activities to meet individual requirements.
* Work collaboratively with class teachers and other support staff to deliver tailored learning and intervention programmes.
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation through consistent, supportive approaches.
* Encourage student engagement and independence, celebrating progress and achievements.
* Provide 1:1 or small group support, helping pupils to access learning and develop key life skills.
* Contribute to the wider school community, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant within a UK school setting (essential).
* Experience working with children with ASC, SEMH, or other additional needs (highly desirable).
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach with the ability to build trusting relationships.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to take initiative when needed.
* A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs to thrive both academically and personally.
