Job summary

Do you have experience working in a busy and fast-paced recruitment team and providing a positive candidate experience?

We are on a mission to improve our candidate journey and ensure clear communication, guidance, and support throughout the process for all applicants.

This key role within our Resourcing Compliance team works closely with Talent Acquisition and Marketing & Events teams to deliver a holistic candidate experience. It ensures that once candidates reach the offer stage, they are smoothly onboarded in a timely and welcoming manner.

This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract based at our HQ in Littlemore, Oxford. You will work a minimum of 2 days per week in the office or at events in Oxfordshire, with the remaining days flexible for remote or office work.


Main duties of the job

1. Ensure that the necessary and correct information is provided by the hiring manager prior to starting pre-employment checks.
2. Be the first point of contact for candidates completing online forms and assist with queries related to pre-employment stages.
3. Prioritize workload and meet pre-employment KPIs, keeping recruitment managers informed of delays.
4. Ensure all pre-employment checks comply with NHS guidelines on references, eligibility to work, DBS, and Occupational Health clearance.
5. Maintain timely and effective communication with recruiting managers.
6. Update the Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Compliance Teams on candidate pipeline status and engagement challenges.
7. Input data and generate correspondence using ESR/E-Rec/Trac systems for recruitment administration.
8. Process payroll for new starters.

Job description

Ideally, you will have experience within a recruitment team or, if not, within customer service or HR, with familiarity with employment legislation and onboarding stages.

You should have knowledge of MS Office and be confident in communication via email and verbally. Experience with ATS systems like TRAC is advantageous but not essential; you should be quick to learn new systems and confident with automation while maintaining a human approach.
