There is an exciting opportunity to join our wonderful team at Borestone Nursery as a Senior Early Childhood Educator. The post holder will be highly qualified with expertise in early childhood learning and development. As a Senior Early Childhood Educator, you will support the management, planning and implementation of a flexible, high quality early learning and childcare service which is appropriate to the needs of young children and their families in the nursery and the wider community. We are looking for a Senior Early Childhood Educator who will inspire, motivate, support and challenge colleagues in the development of their own practice. You will support the implementation of suitable programmes of learning opportunities which meet the needs of the individual child in line with Local and National Guidance.


Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and evaluate early childhood learning programmes that meet the needs of the individual child and local and national guidance.
• Inspire and support colleagues in the development of their own practice and help drive continuous improvement.
• Support the management and planning of the early learning and childcare service to provide high quality, flexible programmes for young children and families.


Qualifications

* Degree level qualification in Early Childhood Practice or equivalent (e.g., BA Childhood Practice, PDA Certificate, Diploma in Early Childhood Studies or other relevant advanced qualification).
* SSSC registered prior to appointment or within 6 months of appointment.
* Full time post – able to work between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm on a rotated shift basis.


Additional Requirements

• SSSC registered prior to appointment, or register within 6 months of appointment.
• Member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children – if the application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
