We’re working with a welcoming secondary school in Walsall that’s looking for an enthusiastic Unqualified History Teacher. This is a brilliant opportunity if you’re considering a career in teaching, want to gain classroom experience, or simply enjoy sharing your love of history with young people.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Delivering engaging history lessons (resources and support provided)
2. Managing a classroom and building strong relationships with students
3. Supporting pupils of all abilities to reach their potential
4. Working closely with colleagues and SLT for guidance and development
What we’re looking for:
5. A degree (History or related subject preferred)
6. Experience working with young people (youth work, tutoring, mentoring, coaching all count!)
7. Confidence, resilience, and strong communication skills
8. A genuine interest in pursuing a career in education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
