Gate Person / General Operative Location: Stoke-on-Trent ST1 4BN Rate: £16.25 per hour, umbrella payments only Hours: 45 hours per week Start Date: 16/02/2026 We am currently recruiting for an experienced Gate Person / General Operative to join a busy construction site in Stoke-on-Trent. Key Responsibilities: Managing site access and maintaining security Safely marshalling vehicles on and off site Coordinating deliveries and visitor access Using hand signals and two-way radio communication effectively Ensuring pedestrian safety and preventing disruption to the public highway Supporting the site team with general operative duties when required Attending site briefings and toolbox talks Requirements: Valid CSCS Labour Card Traffic Marshal qualification Previous construction site experience preferred Reliable, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team This is an immediate requirement with a start date of 16th February.
