This is a key leadership position within the business, responsible for driving efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement across all warehouse and logistics operations. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team to deliver seamless end‑to‑end performance—from inventory management through to final delivery—ensuring high standards of service, safety, and cost control are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage daily warehouse, logistics, and transport operations.
* Lead and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
* Monitor KPIs, identify issues, and implement data‑driven solutions.
* Develop logistics strategies to optimise service levels and cost control.
* Implement effective stock management and inventory control processes.
* Take ownership of Health & Safety compliance and proactive risk management.
* Support business growth through effective planning and process optimisation.
* Contribute to system improvement projects, including Warehouse Management System upgrades.
About You
* Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management, ideally within a retail or fast‑paced operational environment.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* A proactive, hands‑on approach with the ability to make confident decisions.
* Financially astute with experience managing budgets and driving efficiencies.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP/WMS systems.
* Resilient, organised, and results‑driven.
