About The Role: The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients, their premises, and the public by effectively monitoring and operating CCTV systems. This position requires vigilance, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents identified via surveillance. Key Responsibilities: Monitor CCTV systems in real-time to detect, assess, and report suspicious or unusual activity. Respond swiftly to security alerts, alarms, or incidents by following established protocols. Record and retain CCTV footage in line with company procedures and data protection regulations. Maintain accurate and detailed incident logs and reports for all security-related activities. Liaise with on-site security teams and mobile response units to coordinate appropriate action. Provide evidence and support to law enforcement or emergency services when required. Ensure CCTV equipment is functioning correctly and report faults promptly. Uphold a professional and reassuring presence when interacting with clients, colleagues, or visitors. Requirements: Valid SIA CCTV Licence (essential). Previous experience in a CCTV or security monitoring role (preferred but not essential). Excellent observational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to remain calm, focused, and decisive under pressure. Strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection requirements (GDPR). Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays. A professional, customer-focused approach to work.
