Day to Day
- Design and optimise distribution and transport networks to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Analyse volume trends, capacity, and service performance to support planning decisions
- Develop routing and scheduling models to improve delivery and collection efficiency
- Identify opportunities for network improvements and lead implementation of solutions
- Collaborate with operations, transport, and commercial teams to ensure alignment
- Produce detailed reporting, forecasts, and performance insights
- Support peak planning and contingency strategies
- Monitor KPIs and recommend continuous improvement initiatives
- Work with data systems and planning tools to enhance network visibility
What will you bring?
- Proven experience in logistics, transport planning, or supply chain network design
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with planning tools or modelling software is desirable
- Understanding of transport operations (routing, fleet utilisation, capacity planning)
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
