Business Analyst – Contract (Inside IR35)
Location: South Croydon (minimum 2 days onsite per week)
Duration: Initial 6 months
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a key Modern Workplace programme focused on enhancing identity and security capabilities, including Active Directory (Entra ID) improvements and Microsoft Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering business-critical technology solutions within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to elicit, assess, and document business requirements using a range of structured techniques
* Translate business needs into clear, traceable requirements aligned to strategic outcomes
* Evaluate existing systems and processes, identifying gaps and recommending practical, effective solutions
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end business processes to assess cross-functional impacts of proposed changes
* Define both functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring solutions meet operational and performance expectations
* Analyse complex data and technical specifications to support informed decision-making and solution design
* Contribute to planning activities, supporting delivery roadmaps and ensuring alignment across workstreams
* Uphold best practices and standards, while actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst within technology-driven projects
* Strong understanding of identity management and/or data protection technologies (e.g., Entra ID, DLP)
* Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams
* Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
* Experience working within structured delivery frameworks and governance models
