A leading global financial institution is seeking a seasoned Credit Officer to join its Project & Infrastructure Finance team. Key Responsibilities:
1. Review and assess credit applications submitted by front office teams
2. Analyze financial structures, risk-return profiles, collateral, and key transaction risks
3. Build and evaluate projection, recovery, and sensitivity models
4. Benchmark transactions against industry peers and trends
5. Draft clear, concise credit opinions and present recommendations to senior management
6. Monitor borrower exposure and recommend appropriate risk ratings
7. Participate in external meetings with syndicate banks, rating agencies, and legal partners
8. Liaise across internal credit teams to uphold standards and policy alignment
Candidate Requirements:
9. Strong modeling skills and familiarity with Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Excel, and PowerPoint
10. Proven ability to assess credit migration, default risk, and transaction complexity
11. Exceptional writing and presentation skills for executive-level reporting
12. Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred
13. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams
14. Strong time management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
