Sub Agent - Civil Engineering (Water Sector) | North East London | £50,000 + Package \n\nStart Date: June / July\n\nEmployment Type: Full Time, Permanent (45 hrs/week - Mon to Fri, 7:30am-5:30pm)\n\nRed Sky Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a leading UK civil engineering and infrastructure contractor. With over 40 years' experience and a strong reputation for delivering high-profile projects across the water, transport, energy, and built environment sectors, this Tier 1 contractor offers long-term job security, career development, and a people-first culture.\n\nWe are seeking a Sub Agent to join the team working on major water infrastructure schemes across North East London. This role would suit an experienced Site Engineer ready to take the next step or an established Sub Agent with a passion for operational excellence and team leadership.\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\n\nManaging small civil engineering sites or supporting a Site Agent/Project Manager on larger projects\n\nEnsuring works are delivered safely, on time, to budget and to the highest standards\n\nProducing and managing project programmes, interpreting drawings/specs\n\nLeading site meetings and reporting progress to clients and stakeholders\n\nEnsuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality procedures\n\nDriving cost efficiency and maintaining accurate site diaries and cost plans\n\nLeading, mentoring and coordinating site teams and subcontractors\n\nWhat You'll Need:\n\nEssential:\n\nDegree/HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)\n\nCSCS card, SMSTS, NEBOSH or IOSH\n\nFull UK driving licence\n\n5+ years of experience in civil engineering (preferably water sector)\n\nWorking knowledge of NEC contracts, CDM, cost control, design and risk management\n\nStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills\n\nDesirable:\n\nTemporary Works Co-ordinator\n\nConfined space training / Service avoidance training\n\nWorking towards CEng or IEng status\n\nPrevious experience with a direct delivery contractor (e.g.
