Shape the Future of Automotive Technology
At Cox Automotive, we're on a mission to modernise and transform the technology that powers our UK and European Wholesale businesses. Our systems support millions of pounds in revenue every year, and we're investing heavily in new platforms, practices, and people to build the next generation of software products.
As part of this transformation, we're looking for a Delivery Lead to help drive high-impact initiatives, foster collaboration, and ensure successful delivery across our product engineering teams.
Your Mission
As a Delivery Lead, you'll be the glue between engineering, product, and business teams-leading delivery across major projects and helping shape the future of how we build and release software.
Responsibilities include overseeing delivery across multiple teams, managing dependencies and driving outcomes; championing agile and lean practices; building strong relationships with stakeholders and keeping them informed with clear, consistent updates; facilitating cross-functional collaboration and removing blockers to keep teams moving; driving continuous improvement through retrospectives, metrics, and coaching; and supporting the Principal Delivery Lead in shaping long-term delivery strategy and culture.
3-5+ years in a dedicated delivery role, ideally in large-scale agile environments. Proven experience influencing Director-level stakeholders. Deep understanding of agile principles, lean thinking, and systems thinking. Strong technical aptitude and experience leading software delivery teams. Experience with scaled agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, XP). Excellent communication, facilitation, and servant leadership skills.
What We're Looking For
* A strategic thinker who can balance delivery with long-term vision.
* A collaborative leader who empowers teams and promotes ownership.
* Someone who understands the difference between doing Agile and being Agile.
* A coach and mentor who fosters a culture of openness, respect, and continuous learning.
* Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity across complex programmes.
