Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Room Leader to oversee the daily operations of our nursery room. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, with a solid background in early childhood education and childcare. This role requires a nurturing individual who can create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children while effectively communicating with parents and staff.

Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the nursery room team, ensuring high standards of care and education are maintained.
* Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with early years frameworks.
* Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and physical development.
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for children.
* Conduct regular assessments of children's development and maintain accurate records.
* Mentor and support nursery staff, providing guidance on best practices in childcare.
* Collaborate with other team members to create a cohesive approach to child development.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a nursery setting or similar childcare environment.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
* Background in early childhood education is essential.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Experience working with children of various ages, demonstrating an understanding of their developmental needs.
* A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential.
