About The Role
HC-One is looking for an Assistant Chef with at least a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and a solid understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. Beyond qualifications, we value your positive energy, teamwork, and the ability to organise, meet deadlines, present food attractively, and follow recipes perfectly.
As an Assistant Chef you will cook and serve nutritious meals for our residents, support the First Chef in their absence, manage food stock, optimise budgets, coach colleagues, supervise kitchen clean‑up, and always keep resident well‑being in mind. You will also attend safeguarding training and be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect.
