As a Testing Lead, you are responsible for testing payroll and talent data and processes essential for implementing SAP SuccessFactors HCM (EC & ECP modules) across the customer ecosystem, including legacy data sources and platforms. Your role includes defining and delivering the overall project testing plan, payroll simulation cycles, SIT, UAT, and more.
You are expected to leverage your extensive expertise in delivering test planning and execution for SuccessFactors HCM implementation, with a focus on UK ECP data migration. You should be hands-on, establishing best practices and discipline in the testing workstream to achieve desired outcomes.
Acts as an arbitrator to facilitate discussions and drive decisions in a timely manner.
Communicate schedules, dependencies, issues, and risks across teams and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual role or part of a team):
1. Defining the scope of testing: Understand the target system data requirements and processes (SAP SuccessFactors HCM modules, including EC & ECP). Execute test scripts, identify new test scenarios, and obtain business approval. Define the scope of functional, technical, and regression testing.
2. Coordination with client: Conduct system study, verify requirements, analyze, and test software against specifications and documentation.
3. Defect management: Identify, analyze defects, questionable functions, errors, and program outputs.
4. Documentation and reporting: Document, track, and communicate test plans and results, ensuring smooth testing and implementation.
5. Monitoring QA activities: Oversee QA activities, test results, defect analysis, and identify areas for improvement.
6. Ensuring requirements are met: Monitor development activities and report project progress.
7. Team leadership: Lead a large testing team for manual and automation testing across multiple parallel projects as per sprint schedules.
Key Skills/Knowledge:
* Experience in SAP SuccessFactors HCM testing, including at least 3 full lifecycle implementations (Unit, SIT, UAT).
* Proven expertise with SAP SuccessFactors HCM modules, especially EC and ECP, with successful end-to-end payroll parallel runs in UK ECP.
* Leadership in testing workstreams within SAP SuccessFactors HCM projects, including planning, monitoring, and execution during various phases.
* Strong knowledge in managing HR data testing projects in SAP SuccessFactors environments.
Experience required:
* Overall 12+ years of experience, with at least 7+ years in SAP Payroll testing.
* Hands-on experience in SuccessFactors ECP and payroll testing projects.
* Experience working with both business and IT teams of clients.
