We've partnered with a specialist family run food business who are experiencing phenomenal growth to find a talented Quality Assurance Supervisor / Lead to join their team and champion their commitment to quality and safety.
A new headcount to the team, the Quality Assurance Supervisor / Lead will report to the Technical Manager and oversee and lead a team of QAs working closely with production and NPD teams to uphold the highest standards across the business.
Quality Assurance Supervisor / Lead responsibilities include:
 * Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
 * Champion a quality-first mindset across the entire organisation.
 * Collaborate with other departments to investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing effective preventative measures.
 * Own quality control procedures, ensuring they align with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
 * Manage audits and inspections, taking ownership of corrective actions and improvements.
 * Oversee all testing protocols, including microbiological and chemical schedules, and ensure complete traceability.
 * Investigate and resolve customer complaints with a professional and timely approach.
 * Assess and approve raw materials and equipment to guarantee they meet our stringent quality standards.
What We're Looking For in the successful Quality Assurance / QA Supervisor:
 * Proven people leadership experience in a QA environment (food manufacturing).
 * A self-motivated individual with a strong continuous improvement mindset.
 * Advanced knowledge of Food Safety and risk assessment.
 * A collaborative leader with excellent communication skills.
This is a Monday – Friday site-based role, 8-5 with flexibility required.
