Job Opportunity: Finance Assistant
We are collaborating with a charity based in Bournemouth seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with prior finance experience to grow in a supportive environment, with a salary of up to £27,000 and flexible hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee central purchasing functions
2. Analyze monthly credit card invoices, ensuring receipts are received and expenses are reconciled
3. Ensure monthly stock checks are completed
4. Count and reconcile cash, cheques, and card payments weekly
5. Check spreadsheets and reconcile all income
6. Reconcile petty cash weekly
7. Assist with posting purchase and sales invoices
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience in a finance role
* Team player mentality
* Proficiency in IT skills, including Excel
