KS1/ KS2 PPA Cover Teacher- Hindley

We are recruiting for a Primary Teacher for a Primary School in Hindley (WN2) to work on a temporary, long-term basis, commencing as soon as possible!

The temporary KS1/ KS2 PPA Cover Teacher role is to start immediately until Fri 22/05/26. This KS1/ KS2 PPA Cover Teacher role is working 5 x full days per week Monday to Friday, 08:30am- 16:00pm. The role of a KS1/ KS2 PPA Cover Teacher is to work across all year groups covering PPA as and when required to do so. You will be given a timetable to follow each week and you will work closely with the class Teachers and Support Staff whilst undertaking PPA.

Your role & responsibilities:

1. Teaching the children in class, ensuring they complete their work
2. Guiding children through the curriculum and marking work
3. Managing behaviour
4. Upholding the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
5. Planning and delivering engaging lessons

Non-negotiables:

6. You must have relevant experience teaching pupils
7. Hold QTS
8. Knowledge of the national curriculum
9. Be passionate and understanding
10. Have confidence in managing classes of pupils
11. Excellent organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning
12. Good communication skills
