We are working with a stunning restaurant in the village based in East Sussex. Due to remarkable growth they are now seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join the team.
This is an exciting position for a Sous Chef that wants to be a part of a forward pushing team which already has an excellent reputation for the food served.
The restaurant serves modern dishes consisting of fresh produce purchases locally as much as possible. The menus not only change seasonally to reflect the available fresh produce, but also daily with specials. In this role of Sous Chef you will be joining a small team chefs working in the kitchen, not only cooking to the level required but also assisting the Head Chef with the management and the day-to-day running of the kitchen including taking charge in their absence.
Requirements: A Sous Chef, with at least 2 years experience in this role, who has recently been working in a quality fresh food restaurant. A sous chef with the passion and energy to push forward the standard of the food served in the restaurant to gain an excellent reputation. A chef with all round skills in the kitchen who is capable of leading others and is an excellent team player.
