The Role:
* Assist management in the implementation of the Health, Safety & Environmental policy and Safe Systems of Work.
* Maintain systems to enable easy access to records and information related directly to the Health, Safety & Environmental management system.
* Arrange and organise Occupational Health Surveillance where required and maintain records of attendance.
* Promote Health & Safety in the workplace, providing advice to employees on how to maintain their health and well-being.
* Conduct Health & Safety inductions with new staff and maintain induction records.
* Co-ordinate safety audits and inspections.
* Facilitate risk assessment sign-off throughout the business.
* Maintain the Group EH&S legal register.
* Support ongoing ISO 45001/14001 accreditation.
Experience Required:
* Experience in HSE in a manufacturing/production environment.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Effective problem-solving skills.
* Ability to prioritise work and work in an effective and organised manner.
* Ability to be flexible when required.
* Willingness to develop career through academic achievement.
