As a Senior Housing Officer / Neighbourhood Services Manager, you will be the key contact for customers within a defined patch. You will deliver a comprehensive housing management service, supporting customers to resolve issues and become more independent, especially those most vulnerable. The role involves liaising with customers, being visible in your patch, and utilizing all available resources to promote sustainability in our neighbourhoods.
What you’ll be doing:
* Handling tenancy-related queries according to contractual requirements and policies.
* Providing tenancy support to ensure tenancy sustainment.
* Marketing vacant homes and allocating properties based on customer and business needs.
* Managing rent accounts, supporting budgeting, and setting up payment plans, with court action as a last resort.
* Responding to anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches, conducting investigations, and taking appropriate action.
* Addressing safeguarding concerns promptly in line with legal requirements.
* Conducting estate and scheme inspections, monitoring service contracts, and addressing property issues.
* Collaborating with external agencies and partners for community interventions.
What you’ll need:

* Experience in housing or similar roles is desirable.
* Understanding of estate and tenancy management.
* Customer-focused approach with high service standards.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Organizational and time-management skills in a hybrid environment.
* Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively.

* Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office.
* Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
* Willingness to undergo a basic DBS check.
