Are you an enthusiastic and experienced HLTA looking to make a real difference in a supportive secondary school environment? We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Leyland this September.
This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, offering the chance to become a valued member of the school’s dedicated support team.
About the Role:
* Deliver structured interventions and support learning across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher
* Assist in planning and preparing resources
* Work closely with teaching staff to raise achievement and engagement
* Provide 1:1 and small group support when required
About You:
* Hold HLTA status or have equivalent qualifications and experience
* Previous experience supporting learners in a secondary school setting
* Confident leading the class and managing behaviour effectively
* Passionate about helping students reach their full potential
* Adaptable, proactive and a strong team player

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
