Must be willing and eligible to go through the SC Clearance processOur client, a reputable organisation in the IT sector, is hiring for a skilled SC Cleared Salesforce Developer to join a dynamic team on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile projects remotely, supporting critical infrastructure.What you'll be doing:
* Developing and customising Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
* Designing and implementing Salesforce architecture, including data models, workflows, and business processes.
* Configuring Salesforce environments, including setup, integrations, and customisations.
* Troubleshooting complex technical issues and debugging code to ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborating with internal teams and clients to deliver tailored solutions aligned with business needs.
* Participating in Agile development cycles and contributing to continuous improvement.
What you'll bring:
* Extensive experience in Salesforce development, with a focus on Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
* Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and data models.
* Proficiency in Java, Apex, and SOQL.
* Experience with Salesforce configuration, setup, and integrations.
* Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
* Minimum of 5 years of unbroken UK residency.
Nice to have:
* Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.
* Knowledge of Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP), Einstein, and AI features.
* Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps.
* Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Developer, Technical Architect).
* Knowledge of ITIL framework and service management best practices.
