Role & Responsibilities:
* Assist and monitor food stocks and stock movement.
* Understand daily departmental costs and their influence on profit and loss results.
* Ensure minimum kitchen wastage.
* Learn and record skills and recipes from other team members.
* Follow cleaning schedules for the kitchen and other areas as directed.
* Control and rotate stock; accept and store deliveries.
* Report maintenance issues to the Head Chef immediately.
* Comply with all hotel policies and procedures to ensure statutory regulations are observed.
* Follow food hygiene policies.
* Be flexible and willing to assist other departments during busy times if required.
