Position Summary: The Associate Treasury Analyst supports the day‑to‑day treasury operations of the organisation, ensuring effective cash management, liquidity planning, and financial risk management. This role partners closely with Finance, Accounting, and external banking partners to maintain strong cash visibility, optimise working capital, and support strategic financial initiatives. This is an ideal role for an early‑career finance professional looking to build deep technical treasury expertise within a dynamic corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Cash & Liquidity Management
o Assist with daily cash positioning, cash forecasting, and monitoring of bank balances across entities.
o Support short‑term liquidity planning and working capital management activities.
o Prepare regular cash flow reports and variance analysis.
* Banking & Treasury Operations
o Assist with bank account administration, including account openings, signatories, and maintenance.
o Support payment processes while ensuring appropriate controls and approvals are followed.
o Liaise with banks and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
* Financial Risk & Controls
o Support foreign exchange (FX) exposure monitoring and execution of hedging activities (where applicable).
o Ensure treasury activities comply with internal policies, SOX controls, and regulatory requirements.
* Reporting & Analysis
o Prepare month‑end and ad‑hoc treasury reports for the Treasury Manager.
o Support audits by providing required treasury documentation and analysis.
o Contribute to improvements in treasury reporting, processes, and systems.
* Systems & Process Improvement
o Help maintain treasury management systems (TMS) and cash forecasting tools.
o Identify opportunities to streamline treasury processes and improve data accuracy.
o Support treasury‑related projects and implementations as required.
o Plan and lead key project meetings to use time efficiently.
o Deliver improvement projects within the service centre.
* Adherence to policies and procedures, including SOX framework.
* Other duties will be required from time to time.


Required Qualifications

* 1 year of experience in treasury, corporate finance, banking, or accounting.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
* Understanding of cash management and basic financial instruments.
* Reliable under time pressure; proactive and accountable.
* Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.


Desirable Experience

* Supporting payments and bank portal administration.
* Experience with a Treasury Management System (TMS) – Kyriba.
* Progress toward a professional qualification (e.g. ACT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
* Prior experience in a multi‑entity or international environment.
