Job Title: Production Engineer / Technician Location: Crawley, West Sussex Salary: £26,000 – £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Key Responsibilities: * Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repair of production equipment, including conveyor-based machinery * Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults * Support the maintenance of site facilities, including lighting, plumbing, and general utilities * Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns to minimize downtime * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in accordance with maintenance schedules * Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and service history * Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement improvements * Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies What We’re Looking For: * Proven experience in a production engineering or maintenance technician role * Strong mechanical aptitude, ideally with exposure to conveyor systems or fast-paced machinery * Good understanding of preventative maintenance and reactive repair methods * Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work both independently...
