We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiting Assistant to support our recruitment efforts. This role is essential in facilitating the hiring process and ensuring a positive experience for candidates.
Responsibilities
* Assist in lead generation for potential candidates through various channels, including social media management, job boards and net working.
* Utilise applicant matrix systems.
* Maintain accurate records in line with compliance and company policies.
* Communicate effectively with candidates, providing timely updates and feedback throughout the recruitment process and hold their hand along the way.
* Collaborate with senior management and the care team to understand their staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
* Foster strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive experience from application through onboarding and into their care journey.
* Undertake administrative tasks, including scheduling interviews and attending either on site or off site to meet candidates.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a recruiting or human resources role is preferred but not essential.
* Familiarity with a care back ground would be beneficial to understands the needs of the roles.
* Proficient in using MS Office with great keyboard skills.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to engage effectively with everyone.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Have good knowledge of social media and be comfortable in talking to everyone and keen to attend job fairs and networking meetings to effectively manage candidate relationships and streamline the hiring process.
