We are looking to recruit a professional and approachable GP Receptionist to join our friendly team at a busy NHS Wales practice in South Wales serving approximately 12,500 patients. As the first point of contact for patients, you will provide a high standard of customer service both face-to-face and via telephone, ensuring patients are signposted appropriately and supported with empathy and confidentiality. Key responsibilities include booking appointments, processing prescription requests, handling patient queries, updating clinical systems accurately, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, good IT proficiency, and the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced primary care environment.
