A well-established manufacturing business is looking to add a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to its engineering team at its Corby facility. This is a days-based role offering long term stability, overtime opportunities and the chance to work within a fast-paced production environment.
The role will involve carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdown repairs and supporting continuous improvement activities across a range of manufacturing and production equipment.
You will be working closely with production and operations teams to minimise downtime, improve machine reliability and support overall site performance.
The Role
* Planned preventative maintenance across manufacturing machinery
* Reactive mechanical breakdown support
* Fault finding, repair work and continuous improvement activities
* Supporting production performance and machine reliability
* Working safely and in line with site procedures
Candidate Requirements
* Level 3 Engineering qualification or recognised apprenticeship
* Strong mechanical maintenance background within manufacturing
* Experience working within a fast-paced production environment
* Confident fault finding and carrying out mechanical repairs independently
