What you will do: Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders resulting from a variety of causes. Provide highly specialised input for patients with complex needs, ensuring personalised and effective care. Participate in clinical triage rota, making informed decisions on complex referrals to ensure appropriate patient care. Work with patients requiring complex rehabilitation following strokes and brain injuries; this will involve clinic sessions, home visits, care home support, and may include video consultations. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care plans. Contribute to the development of innovative treatment approaches and programmes. Requirements: Current HCPC registration required. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting is essential. A driving licence is preferable for this role due to the need for travel between locations.
