This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a critical compliance leadership role within our Engineering Department. About the Role
As the Facilities & Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring site-wide compliance with a particular focus on governance, auditing, and contractor management. You will oversee electrical compliance with a focus on management and oversight rather than direct technical work. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of electricians and contractors, ensuring all systems and projects comply with legal and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with PSSR, F-Gas, PAT Testing, Legionella, LOLER, and HV systems
* Manage contractors and ensure adherence to safety and legal standards
* Oversee governance, auditing, and maintenance of site systems
* Supervise and develop a team of electricians
* Collaborate with Health & Safety and engineering teams to drive compliance excellence
About You
We are looking for a compliance-driven professional with strong electrical knowledge and experience in governance, auditing, and contractor management. While you will not be carrying out hands-on electrical work, you must have the ability to understand electrical systems and effectively manage a team of electricians.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Recognised electrical qualification (e.g., 18th Edition)
* Strong knowledge of electrical compliance and governance
* Experience managing contractors and ensuring regulatory compliance
* Leadership skills with experience supervising technical teams
* Background in compliance-heavy industries such as engineering, utilities, or manufacturing
* Stable work environment with ongoing investment in site infrastructure and training
