Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – City of LondonAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building services provider on a prestigious commercial contract in the City of London. Based within a modern commercial office building, the successful candidate will join a small, dedicated on-site maintenance team. This is a Monday to Friday position, working 8:00am to 5:00pm, offering an excellent work-life balance with no call-out requirement.
The role will involve carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a variety of mechanical and building services systems, ensuring the site remains fully operational, safe, and compliant at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks
- Maintain and service Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
- Inspect, maintain, and repair pumps, bearings, and mechanical seals
- Conduct maintenance on sprinkler systems
- Perform water treatment duties, including tap temperature testing, dosing, and cooling tower inspections
