 
        
        We have partnered with a fantastic school in looking for a proactive and passionate Lead Teaching Assistant to join its dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives by supporting their academic progress and personal development.
As Lead Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in creating a supportive learning environment. You’ll lead a team of Teaching Assistants, plan and deliver targeted interventions, and work closely with teachers, parents, and the SENDCo to remove barriers to learning and ensure every child reaches their full potential.
What you’ll do
 * Deliver tailored learning programmes and interventions
 * Monitor student progress and adapt support accordingly
 * Line manage Teaching Assistants and coordinate SEND provision
 * Conduct learning walks and quality assure classroom support
 * Analyse data to inform planning and provision
 * Support teachers with strategies and resources for inclusive learning
 * Maintain accurate SEND records and manage access arrangements
 * Communicate effectively with families and external agencies
 * Mentor students 1:1 and in small groups
 * Assist with whole class teaching and pastoral care
 * Coordinate CPD and training records for support staff
 * Support transition planning for students with SEND
 * Confidently use ICT systems (SIMS, Excel, CPOMS, Word)

 * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 * Experience building successful learning relationships with children and adults

 * Strong organisational and administrative abilities
 * A genuine belief in the potential of every student
 * Commitment to safeguarding and equality of opportunity
 * First Aid qualification or willingness to train
