Your new company
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to support the maintenance, repair and safe operation of plant and equipment at a site in Kings Lynn. Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, you'll carry out electrical maintenance, inspections and fault-finding to ensure all equipment remains compliant, reliable and efficient.
Your new role
On joining the team, you will carry out day-to-day maintenance and reactive maintenance where required,
* Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on port equipment such as cranes, forklifts, loaders and conveyors.
* Complete checks before starting work, follow procedures and keep equipment compliant.
* Help with electrical installations and estate-wide electrical works.
* Find faults and safely get equipment back up and running.
* Work safely at all times and take part in risk assessments and toolbox talks.
* Work closely with the Engineering team, contractors and operational staff.
What you'll need to succeed
1. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
2. Time-served electrician.
3. Experience working on industrial or heavy-plant equipment.
4. 17th or 18th Edition qualified.
5. Good understanding of Health & Safety.
6. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
