Job Overview
- To protect our customer's property, people, and assets by providing security services in accordance with the site’s published Assignment Instructions (AIs) and any subsequent updates.
- To deliver results that meet or exceed the Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreement for the customer, ensuring full responsibility and accountability, and providing a service that supports contract retention.
- To undertake additional training for continuous self-development.
Main Duties
Operations
* Ensure compliance with all policies, legal, and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK Law and Guidance bodies.
* Complete all tasks and duties on site as defined in the published Assignment Instructions (AIs).
* Review and familiarize oneself with any changes to the Assignment Instructions to suggest improvements.
* Maintain compliance with Industry and Statutory Legislation, including holding a front-line licence in Security Guarding or Door Supervision, and a CCTV PSS SIA Licence. Additional courses may be required.
* Follow instructions and procedures appropriately, respecting authority.
* Work systematically and methodically.
Training
* Complete all required competency training satisfactorily.
* Undertake additional training for self-development as directed.
* Utilize technology for work objectives and professional development.
* Renew licences 16 weeks before expiry.
Security and Health & Safety
* Report any Health & Safety hazards immediately.
* Remain alert to threats or changes to reduce risks.
* Use common sense and involve others if a situation becomes threatening.
* Maintain professional conduct in challenging situations.
* Accurately document incidents for reports.
* Adhere to schedules and demonstrate commitment.
* Carry out check calls as stipulated.
* Report incidents to emergency services and Communication Centre.
