Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
They are seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to support continued growth across our UK courier and international freight-forwarding services. This is a hands-on, autonomous role with a strong focus on new business development, supported by ongoing account management.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate and convert new business across UK courier, same-day and express delivery, and international air, sea, and road freight
* Take full ownership of lead generation through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market engagement
* Develop and grow a portfolio of new and existing client accounts
* Prepare and present tailored logistics solutions aligned to customer requirements
* Negotiate pricing and commercial terms while protecting margin
* Maintain an accurate sales pipeline with clear forecasting
* Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery
* Represent the business professionally at client meetings and industry events
Candidate Profile
* Proven experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or courier sales
* Strong new business development capability
* Commercially astute with a solid understanding of pricing and margin
* Confident, credible, and comfortable operating autonomously
* Organised, resilient, and target driven
Package
* Salary £40,000-£45,000 basic, dependent on experience
* £5,000 car allowance
* Commission structure linked to revenue performance
