Dorset Integrated Non-Custodial Service supports individuals suspected of committing a crime, attending Court, or being released from prison. We work with people who have mental health illnesses, learning disabilities, substance misuse problems, or other vulnerabilities. Our goal is to reduce re-offending by providing appropriate support and access to services.
Note: Applications from candidates requiring current Healthcare worker sponsorship to work in the UK are unfortunately ineligible for this position.
As part of the team delivering Mental Health Treatment Requirements, working closely with the Team Lead and Psychologist, the post holder will plan, deliver, and evaluate psycho-social interventions with clients who have been given a Mental Health Treatment Requirement alongside a community sentence.
At Dorset HealthCare, we’re committed to empowering people to make the most of their lives through outstanding, integrated healthcare services. We’re a dynamic, forward-looking Trust operating 12 community hospitals, specialist inpatient facilities, and a wide range of community and mental health services for nearly 800,000 residents.
We do things differently — which is reflected in our 2019 CQC rating of ‘outstanding’. Additionally, 95% of patients report good or very good experiences, and 89% of staff feel they can make a real difference. Whether in bustling market towns, vibrant urban areas, seaside towns, or the scenic Dorset countryside, there are many ways to contribute to our communities.
Our 7,000-strong workforce is central to our success. We are dedicated to building a future-proof workplace, promoting equal opportunities, and celebrating diversity. We are an inclusive workplace where everyone is welcome, authentic, and encouraged to be their best selves.
