Recruitment Consultant - Legal Sector Specialist

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Competitive Salary + Excellent Commission Structure to 30%

The Role

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team. While expertise in legal recruitment is advantageous, we welcome experienced recruiters from all sectors who demonstrate transferable skills and the potential to excel in our specialist legal market.

Comprehensive Back-Office Support

To enable you to focus on what you do best - building relationships and making placements - we provide full back-office support including:

5. Professional CV creation and formatting
6. Dedicated IT support to resolve technical issues quickly
7. Streamlined temporary staff payroll management
8. Comprehensive compliance and regulatory support
9. Marketing assistance to help build your personal and professional brand
10. Administrative support to minimize non-billable work

Key Responsibilities

11. Source, screen, and attract high-calibre legal professionals including solicitors, paralegals, and legal support staff
12. Develop and maintain strong relationships with law firms, corporate legal departments, and potential candidates
13. Conduct comprehensive candidate interviews and skills assessments
14. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial contact to successful placement
15. Develop and expand our candidate and client networks through proactive networking and business development
16. Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly recruitment targets
17. Maintain accurate and detailed candidate and client records using our CRM system
18. Provide expert advice to candidates and clients on market trends, salary expectations, and career opportunities

Essential Requirements

19. Proven experience in recruitment across any sector
20. Demonstrable success in achieving recruitment targets
21. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
22. Strong negotiation and sales abilities
23. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
24. Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
25. Resilient and target-driven personality
26. Valid UK work permit

Desirable Qualifications

27. Experience in legal recruitment (excellent training will be provided for those transitioning)
28. Understanding of professional career paths and specialisms
