Location: This is a hybrid role, requiring at least two to three days per week in the Corby or London office (Kings Cross). Where London‑based, regular travel to Corby will be required, typically weekly.
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract – 12 months
The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced and detail‑driven Inventory Finance Manager to take ownership of inventory accounting, valuation and reporting across the EMEA region. This is a technically focused and commercially impactful role, ensuring IFRS‑compliant reporting while partnering closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Commercial and Group Finance. You’ll provide clear insight that links operational activity to financial outcomes, driving strong governance and high‑quality decision‑making.
What You Will Be Doing
1. Leading the month‑end close for inventory across EMEA and APAC, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting.
2. Managing inventory movements including stock in transit, warehouse adjustments, AVSA and intercompany flows.
3. Owning the provisioning methodology, ensuring robust assumptions and effective governance.
4. Delivering clear analysis of provision movements with strong operational and commercial insight.
5. Reviewing and approving reconciliations, ensuring balance sheet accuracy and timely resolution of variances.
6. Supporting audit and external reporting requirements, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
7. Partnering cross‑functionally to support forecasting, planning and inventory‑related decisions.
What You will Bring
8. Fully ACA or ACCA qualified with industry experience preferred.
9. Strong technical accounting knowledge, ideally within inventory or supply‑chain‑related areas.
10. Experience in inventory finance or supply chain finance within a commercial environment would be an advantage.
11. Confident excel user with the ability to interpret complex data into clear insight.
12. Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management capability.
13. Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high‑quality outputs.
14. Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP) and business intelligence tools (such as Power BI).
