Credit Control Assistant\n Northampton\n Temporary (3-month contract)\n Full-time, office-based\n £12.21\n\nThe brief:\n\nWe are working with a well-established local business who need a confident and proactive individual to support their finance team in a short-term credit control project. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain further hands-on experience in a commercial environment and would be ideally suited to recent graduates or those looking to build on existing accounts admin experience.\n\nThis role will involve making a high volume of outbound calls to chase outstanding payments and reduce aged debt. Whilst previous credit control experience isn't required, any previous exposure to a similar role, finance work or a call centre environment will be an advantage.
Our ideal candidate will be a quick study, self-motivated and have clear, professional communication style and the confidence to deal with corporate B2B clients over the phone.\n\nThis is a great chance to make a real impact in a short space of time while developing valuable workplace skills and experience.\n\nThe role:\n\nSupport the accounts team by making a large number of outbound calls to recover overdue payments.\nReview debtor accounts and follow up with clients via a combination of phone & email.\nRecord call outcomes and update internal CRM and finance systems with customer & invoice information.\nLiaise with internal colleagues to escalate enquiries, and gather necessary information to support enquiries.\nMaintain a polite and professional approach with all customers.\nProvide other administrative support as needed. \n\nThe candidate:\n\nExcellent telephone manner and a confident communicator.\nUpbeat, energetic and enthusiastic, and comfortable working to targets.\nStrong time management and organisation, with ability to work independently.\nReliable, organised and eager to learn.\nAccess to your own transport will be needed as the office location is not accessible via public transport.\nPrevious customer service, call centre or credit control experience is desirable, however the role would also suit a recent graduate or someone looking to gain experience providing you have the right skills and traits. \n\nAdditional details:\n\nFull-time, office-based: 8am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday\nNorthampton (NN7)\n3-month temporary contract \n\nInterested?
