The Certinia Product Management team is searching for a Senior Product Manager to help us accelerate and drive adoption of our Services Estimator offering. As traditional time and rates evolve with the rapid rise of supportive technology and AI, we're dedicated to partnering with our customers to successfully navigate this new era of pricing. As a leader in this role, you'll be instrumental in directing a team to tackle strategic problems, advancing the Services Estimator roadmap and ultimately fueling our customers' growth. You'll also serve as a guiding light for Product Management, coaching and mentoring our Product Managers to expertly identify and seize opportunities. This position calls for someone with exceptional interpersonal and technical skills to seamlessly collaborate with a wide array of stakeholders. You'll work closely with engineering, product operations, fellow product managers, and UX designers to identify and prioritize key opportunities. Additionally, you'll leverage telemetry and analytics tools, defining essential guidelines and recommendations for their effective implementation. WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE Engage with customers: Customers are at the heart of everything we do. You will be empowered to collaborate fully with customers to gain a deep understanding of their goals and challenges. Bringing insights and opportunities back to the wider team to explore new solutions. Drive strategy: Own the strategy for your part of the product - which is typically aligned to a key customer persona. Influence overall product strategy by sharing your insights into customers needs. Collaborate with leadership to drive strategic investments and specific customer needs in parallel. Work with engineering and design partners to define the shared OKRs for your team, ensuring strategy meets practice. Discovery & Delivery: Own the discovery and delivery objectives for your assigned domain. Develop a rich understanding of customer needs in your problem space through customer interviews, stakeholder interviews, usage metrics data, and customer ideas. Partner with the design and engineering leads in your team to explore potential solutions and test these to discover the best solution. Work with your team to iteratively deliver the highest value solution to our customers. Expect to learn, adapt and iterate on the fly. Draw on support from your experienced peers and discipline leads across Product Management, design and engineering. Own the responsibility for ensuring that features are ready to ship. Go To Market: Collaborate with key customers to help them adopt and go-live with the latest versions of the product, including capabilities which you helped shape, design and deliver. Help train our sales, services and support teams so they can make customers successful. Present new functionality to customers and partners as part of the new release process at webinars, our conference and occasionally one on one. WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE 5 years of experience as a Product Manager or Technical Product Manager of a commercial grade product such as business applications and/or SaaS applications/commercial software. Strong understanding of technologies and technology platform concepts. A keen eye for data and metrics and full understanding of how they contribute to better decision making in all key business areas. A clear understanding of the market and personas we are serving with our solution/s. Ensure you have a good understanding of the end-user requirements so that you can prioritize and drive out the product requirements. Manage and improve the user experience of our applications working with our UX team. Possess exceptional product design, communication/interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience working in an Agile environment and leading engineering team. Strong attention to detail. Global mindset. Ability to travel domestically and internationally approx 10% of the time. Fluent English communication skills to interact with our global workforce. WHAT ELSE WOULD BE GREAT Previous experience with product usage telemetry or business intelligence solutions. Understanding of data analytics, statistics and ML/AI. Previous experience working on ERP/PSA solutions and/or cloud platforms is highly desirable.
