The Role
* Responsible for managing a varied workload of Enforcement cases (including more complex cases depending on experience).
* At senior level, supervising and mentoring more junior staff.
* Supporting the Enforcement Team Leader to drive forward service improvements.
* Effective delivery of high-quality service outputs that meet policy and corporate objectives.
About you
* Excellent working knowledge of relevant planning legislation and regulations relating to Development Management and Planning Enforcement.
* Experience of managing a wide range of enforcement cases.
* Experience of carefully and rigorously investigating planning control.
* Ability to influence and communicate effectively both with colleagues and a wide range of others, including representatives from legal firms, members of the public, legal / estates professionals, developers and landowners to achieve required outcomes.
* Experience of working collaboratively with others to organise workloads and resolve problems.
* Good IT skills and the ability to research case law and good practice

*In line with their pay policy, EHC will review the application of the Market Forces Supplement annually, and if warranted, will make adjustments in liaison with affected staff.
Salary range
* £38,009 - £44,804 per year
