Overview
This is the company where everything happens under one roof, raw materials in, sheet metal, welding, CNC machining, assembly, testing. That means there is a chance to influence at every stage, from incoming inspection through to testing, compliance, and continuous improvement. They’re looking for a QHSM with a multi-discipline manufacturing background to join the team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
As Quality Health and Safety Manager you’ll:
* Lead a small but capable team.
* Challenge R&D when quality gates aren’t in place.
* Be the one who spots the escape points before they cost time and money.
* Assess and improve Health & Safety across the shop floor.
Details
* Salary: £60–65k depending on experience
* Onsite five days a week
* Early finish every Friday (1:30pm)
* Occasional travel to a second site, but home base stays the same
Qualifications
If you’ve got 5+ years’ experience in QHSE, internal auditing know-how, and the confidence to drive standards in a busy, multi-process environment, this could be the move you’ve been waiting for. It would be great if you have NEBOSH, but if not IOSH is also considered.
