Job Details
We are looking for 2 experienced Building Standards Surveyors to join our Building Standards & Public Safety team. The positions are part of our verification team that manages around 3,000 building warrant applications annually, ranging from small-scale projects to large and complex non-domestic buildings. Responsibilities include the technical assessment of building warrant applications and handling compliance inspections.

Building Standards & Public Safety is part of Protective Services, working with Environmental Health and Trading Standards to deliver a variety of statutory and advisory services focused on protecting public health and consumer safety.

The Person
If you meet the essential criteria outlined in the role profile, we encourage you to apply:
1. Degree level (SCQF level 9) qualification in a relevant construction related subject.
2. Experience within a Building Standards & Public Safety setting, including knowledge of relevant legislation, technical standards, and delivering verification services.
