Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons to students in accordance with the national curriculum
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support where necessary
* Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop and implement cross-curricular projects and initiatives
* Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, achievements, and behavior
* Participate in regular professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
* Qualified teacher status or equivalent in Science Education
* Proven experience teaching Science in a primary or secondary school setting
* Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum
* Ability to engage and inspire students through creative teaching methods
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
* Ability to adapt to changing educational trends and technologies
* Valid DBS clearance or willingness to undergo a background check
