A leading Uk law firm is looking to hire two Business Development Managers to join their award -winning Business Development & Marketing team. These exciting roles will support the growth of our NHS Health & Care and Independent Health & Care Market Focus Groups (MFGs). As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the strategic growth plans for MFG's.
Your responsibilities will include:
Strategic Planning & Leadership
* Develop and implement business plans aligned with the firm’s growth ambitions.
* Lead on strategic client planning, including relationship mapping, client reviews, and feedback loops.
* Act as the BD lead in MFG meetings, offering insight, challenge, and direction.
Client Development & Market Engagement
* Build and nurture relationships with key clients, prospects, intermediaries, and industry bodies.
* Identify and respond to market trends, opportunities, and challenges in collaboration with legal and knowledge teams.
* For NHS: Work closely with framework owners to maximise value and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Marketing & Campaigns
* Design and deliver integrated marketing campaigns to raise profile and generate leads.
* Create compelling thought leadership, client publications, and sector insights.
* Develop marketing collateral including brochures, videos, case studies, and web content.
Events & Sponsorships
* Plan and execute a calendar of in-person and virtual events, roundtables, and sponsorships to support networking and brand visibility.
Bids & Proposals
* Produce persuasive proposals and presentations.
* Support the Bids Team in responding to formal tenders and submissions.
Performance & Reporting
* Manage MFG budgets and track ROI on BD and marketing activities.
* Provide regular updates and reports to the Board and internal stakeholders.
Technology & Tools
* Leverage CRM systems (MS Dynamics, Introhive) and digital platforms to drive engagement and insight.
* Use GenAI tools, e-marketing platforms, and webinar software to enhance delivery.
The successful candidate for these role:
* Proven experience in BD, marketing, or client development in professional services.
* Sector knowledge of either the NHS or Independent Health & Care is highly desirable.
* A confident communicator and strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness.
* Highly organised, self-motivated, and results-driven.
* Comfortable using digital tools including CRM, e-marketing, and webinar platforms.
