Rate: £400 - £500 P/day

Areas of Responsibility:
As the Control Engineer, you will:
Technically lead industry control solutions and support development of new colleagues.
Production / checking of functional design specifications
Develop and design control systems solutions.
Responsible for overseeing and delivering customer factory and site testing activities.
Ensure compliance with customer technical specifications on allocated projects.
Providing technical input for the pre-sale's activities.
Responsible for technical issues/support on allocated projects
Attend internal and external design reviews providing technical input.
What skills and experience you will bring to the role:
Important: The candidate will be required to obtain UK Government Security Check (SC) clearance.
Candidates with five years residency will be preferred.
experience within control / automation background.
A minimum qualification of HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering and/or experience in the Electricity Transmission and Distribution Industry.
Siemens RTU configuration and testing using SICAM Toolbox II and SICAM Device Manager.
HMI configuration and testing, preferably with experience in Zenon EE V10.0 or SAT 250 SCALA.
Proficiency with protocol simulators for I/O testing.
Configuration of managed Ethernet switches, such as Ruggedcom.
Desired Experience
Minimum five years' experience in a similar role involving developing medium to large scale SCADA systems, control systems, automation systems and communication infrastructure.
Good understanding of the Circuit Diagrams / Wiring Diagrams and General Arrangement drawings on control and protection systems.
