SALES ENQUIRY HANDLER. Mercedes-Benz & Smart of Dartford has a great opportunity for a Sales Enquiry Handler to join our centralised Sales Hub. YOUR ROLE. As a Sales Enquiry Handler, you will be responsible for managing all sales enquiries, whether by telephone, email, live chat, online, or event marketing. You will be an effective communicator and listener and will help the customer identify the correct vehicle to meet their needs and lifestyle. You will follow up each enquiry lead with the sales team with a view to progressing from enquiry to sale. The main duties of the role include: Answer calls and respond to all customer enquiries, proactively identify their needs, build rapport, and provide relevant information. Have a thorough knowledge of the Mercedes-Benz range, including new technologies, to confidently discuss our cars and services with customers. Respond to digital enquiries through the carwow/CRM portal one hour. Provide personalised PCP quotes when relevant (Velocity). Liaise directly with the appropriate manager and assign new enquiries to a sales executive. Deliver exceptional customer service, exceeding customer expectations. Schedule and coordinate customer appointments, including arranging test drives. YOUR PROFILE. Excellent verbal and written communication skill Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail IT Literacy with confidence using CRM and reservation systems Proven experience in customer service, call centre, account management, ideally with experience in handling enquiries. SALARY AND HOURS. Full time basic Salary £27,664 per annum with a competitive bonus opportunity OTE £32,664 per annum (based on 40hrs, any part time roles paid pro rata) The working hours follow a variable rotating shift pattern from Monday to Friday, with shifts ranging between 7am – 4pm, 8am – 5pm, 9am – 6pm, and 10am – 7pm. Additionally, Saturday shifts (8am – 5pm) are scheduled on a rota basis (one in three), with an agreed weekday off, and Sunday shifts (10am – 5pm) are required on a rota basis, compensated as overtime or time off in lieu The position is office-based, offering a structured and professional work environment.
