We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Electric Vehicle Project Officer to join our team. You’ll be involved in the delivery of circa. 1, new charge points by, building on a successful programme that has seen the installation of more than charge points.
Reporting to the Transport Planning Manager, you will be a dynamic and motivated individual who will work as part of the team to help deliver the council’s vision of a net-zero carbon transport network, making greener transport a more natural choice for travel.
The role will include procuring new operators, managing contracts and projects, communicating benefits to residents, liaising with stakeholders and working to evaluate project outcomes to inform next steps.
This is a great opportunity to further develop your experience in delivering EV infrastructure projects. In time, there will be scope for this role to broaden out to include other elements of our programme.
You will be highly motivated, with a flexible approach and an eagerness to develop existing competencies as well as attaining new skills.
Using your skills in the collection, assembly and analysis of data, you will provide essential background material to inform important decisions.
You will need to demonstrate report writing skills, knowledge of transport policy, a capacity for interpreting transport strategies, and excellent verbal communication skills.
You will need to be educated to degree level with a recognised professional qualification.
